The first workshop was held in the Department of Occupational Health and Safety by Professor: Asmaa Al-Ramli in all branches of Al-Akeed Laboratory and its objectives were
1. Implementation of all occupational safety measures to protect workers inside the laboratory
2. Awareness and training of all employees on health and safety precautions inside the laboratory داخل
3. Follow-up and evaluation of the quality of the application of safety procedures by laboratory workers
Contents of the first workshop:
1. Explain the concept of occupational health and safety and the importance of its application
2. Clarify the periodic analyzes and vaccination schedule for workers
3. Take precautions when exposed to acupuncture
4. Procedures for exposure to spills and splashes
5. Procedures for handling sharps
6. Procedures for exposure to microbial infection
7. Explain the dangers of chemicals and how to use them
8. Clarify the signs used for chemicals (Symbols)
